Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. If so, I'd seriously consider upgrading to the current build of Our other Windows 10 box got force fed that upgrade and it took it offline for 2. Bosses were not impressed - have since disabled Windows Update, but this has issues of its own where it can only see a subset of the LAN PCs and as this is more serious problem would prefer to stick to build on the PC in question.
Shame Microsoft are not thouroghly testing each build before releasing. Each one seems to have its own set of bugs. I'm sorry to resurrect a thread this old but I'm having this same issue. Windows 10 64 bit is reporting size on disk to be larger than the actual geometry of the drive!!! Has anybody found a solution for this? Would we be able to use a third party file management application? Something like Ultracopier, Supercopier, or Teracopy perhaps.
Does anybody believe these to be viable, workaround solutions? Do any of you know of any open source applications that are similar to the apps I've mentioned?
I've also resurrected another slightly old thread at this location: Social Technet Microsoft forum with same issue in another thread. I've included a link to this thread in my response there so these two are "connected" in case a solution is implemented.
