Most of our users are on Microsoft E5 which of course includes Windows 10 Enterprise. When we receive the computer, what is recommended procedure to upgrade the computer to Windows 10 Enterprise?
I have used a variety of methods but I want to know exactly what Microsoft recommends. But I don't have a way to locate an Enterprise key in order to change the product key and move to Enterprise. I guess the way forward is with Config Manager, I am just not wanting to have to reload a bunch of software on new machines. Please correct me if I misunderstood anything. According to support article , Windows 10 Home can be upgraded to Windows 10 Education in-place. To upgrade to Enterprise, though, we need Pro installed first, however. Besides, with Windows 10, you can upgrade from one edition of Windows 10 to another, provided the upgrade path is supported.
