For the past few days I have been unable to use Outlook. My Outlook icon on the task bar as a small "! My latest e-mails in Outlook are from Dec. Newer e-mails don't show up and I have to go to hotmail. I tried multiple computers and it does the same thing on all of them. I have used Outlook for years and never had any issues. Thanks for your feedback. So it says my account settings are out of date I clicked fix but it's been "Fixing" for like 20 minutes now but it doesn't seem to do anything. I also saw something pop-up about a password. I try clicking on it but to pop-up went away without me really knowing what it was about or where I need to go to update my password EDIT 2: The pop-up appeared again on the botton right and it says click here to update you password but when I click on it, the pop-up diappears and nothing happens.
No window appears to allow me to update a password. Sorry for the confusion. I actually never use the Mail app and really only use Outlook.
I was just looking around my PC trying to find a way to solve the problem and saw this Mail thing I never used before and took a screenshot of it when I saw there was a problem with it and thought it could be related to my issue on Outlook. I think I have Office I went in Windows Update but everything is already up to date. Yes the e-mail address was added as a " Microsoft Exchange account". In reply to ggMalkavian's post on January 3, If you want to use outlook, type outlook on the start menu and open it. Pin it to the task bar and remove the Mail app.
Outlook has a blue icon, Mail is a white envelope. Best guess, it sounds like you need to update the password. See if there are any updates waiting to be installed. Do you reboot every day? Ir's under reset on the Apps screen If not, you'll need to use powershell to repair or remove it, or suffer with the 'settings out of date' error. This site in other languages x.
